ABOUT ME

My name is Emma Scarton and I am a Product Development Engineer at Teleflex Medical OEM located in Mansfield, MA. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Swanson School of Engineering in April 2024.

 

I have experience leading customer-driven development efforts from early concept through validation, with a focus on design controls, prototyping, and data-driven decision making. I'm a strong cross-functional collaborator and problem solver across R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams. I have hands-on experience with DOE, Minitab statistical analysis, and validation testing.

In addition to studying engineering, I earned a minor in French, and had the incredible opportunity of studying abroad in Paris, France.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing pickleball, playing the piano, taking pictures, reading, and listening to music.
